Final Step: Your Campaign Is Now Set
Your first campaigns are now successfully created. Do the same steps for creating more or import campaigns and ad group directly next time.
From this point, you will manage, adjust, and optimise them directly in the full Sklik interface, where all advanced campaign settings are available.
This is where you can go beyond basic setup and fine-tune your performance.
Do not make any adjustments without relevant data-driven foundation (at least 14 days, better 30 days). Such changes might limit the campaigns' full potential.
What You Can Adjust in the Full Sklik Interface
Once the campaign is created, Sklik gives you access to advanced controls such as:
Advanced campaign settings
- Device multipliers (increase or decrease bids on mobile/desktop/tablet)
- Time scheduling (hourly or daily ad delivery)
- Regional adjustments
- Ad rotation rules
- Frequency capping (for Display)
- Daily budget limits and CPC/CPT/CPA adjustments
Advanced targeting management
- Add new targeting types to ad groups
- Create new ad groups with different targeting
- Remove or exclude poorly performing targeting types (after data is collected)
- Exclude placements that are irrelevant or low-quality
- Update retargeting lists (RTG) and Lookalike audiences
Tip: One of the most common practices is excluding conversion users from Retargeting campaigns and excluding website visitors from Acquisiton based campaigns. You will learn more about it in the next chapter.
Ad management
- Add new ad variations (text ads, banners, combined ads)
- Delete outdated or underperforming creatives
- Upload new visuals or try different messaging
- Test banner vs. combined ads in separate ad groups
